Deleting your data

How to have your Bridge Club account and your data removed.

Last updated:

Delete your account yourself

If you can sign in, you can delete your account at once: open Settings (the gear) and choose Delete my account at the bottom. You will be shown what is removed and what is kept, and asked to type your username; your account is then deleted straight away and you are signed out. Delete my account

If you cannot sign in

Send an email to from the email address of your account, and tell us your username. If you signed in with Google, Facebook or Apple, write from the email address of that account. If you used Apple's "Hide My Email", tell us so and give your username, because the address we hold is Apple's relay address and not the one you write from.

A person carries out each request sent by email. We may write back once to confirm that the request is yours.

How long it takes

Deleting your account in Settings takes effect at once. For a request by email, we aim to complete it within 30 days of confirming it is yours, and we will write to tell you when it is done.

If you signed in with Google, Facebook or Apple

Removing your Bridge Club account does not change your account at that company. You can also remove Bridge Club from the list of apps there at any time (Facebook: Settings, Apps and Websites; Google: your account's Security page, third-party connections; Apple: Settings, your name, Sign in with Apple). That stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete what is stored here, so please also delete your account here (Settings, Delete my account) or write to us.
